Here is a story I would like to share with you, it might help inspire people that go through the hard economic times that we all sometimes face.

I know of a person who had been in business for 19 years, it was his lively hood and that was what he did best.  The work in his industry went to a dead stop.  During the bad economy he tried his best to generate work however, his business curtailed.  He kept his family financially afloat by using what savings and investments he had acquired from the business.  It wasn’t much but it was something, and he felt blessed to know he would not lose his house or foreclose on his mortgage.  He knew it was just a matter of time and thought how long will it take for it to happen.

In the winter of 2007, he and his wife took a trip to visit his children in Southern California.  As he entered the car his wife noticed the GPS screen was all smudged-up, he looked at his wife and said “Well, someone needs to invent something to prevent all this smudging”.  Their next visit,  he briefly mentioned to his children that he thought of a glove that would prevent smudging on electronic device screens and they replied “Hey dad!  I want one of those”.  He told them “it hasn’t even been invented yet”!

Well, as the story goes this person thought, why not invent it, God put the idea in front of him.   He worried about possible and greater financial struggles down the road.  He decided to go ahead and give it a try.  So through countless hours and months of research he found the resources he needed for his new invention.  He called it “The Original Smudg G’Luv” for Smudgeless Touchscreen Operation its appearance is sleek and fashionable.

He became an inventor and entrepreneur.  Of course every entrepreneur I meet is all excited and jacked-up about their idea and thinks they’re going to make a lot of money fast.  These entrepreneurs must have faith and lots of patience because when the house payments late, car motors smoking, checking account overdrawn, and the mail is stuffed full of bills they feel so much pressure makes them want to quit, then someone comes along and tells them what a great product they have, makes them feel like they would run it out of homeless shelter if that’s what it took.

My point is, people should stand up for themselves, they should not wait for  government help for bail out.  People need to be creative helps them persevere through hard times.  Don’t be a couch potato.  Enroll in school, learn a different profession or trade, start a home business, you  know what I mean, be smart, just do it!

I like John F. Kennedy’s historic quote:  “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”.

His new product has finally been launched to market and I hope much success to him.  His ambition and persistency will work, I know, because this person is me.

Keep trying and never give up.  Someone told me “Don’t Quit” when things go wrong as they sometimes will, when the road you’re trudging seems all uphill, when the funds are low, and the debts are high and you want to smile, but you have to sigh Rest if you must but don’t you quit.
